Friday was a whirlwind of a day! We had back to back STEM classes, awards ceremonies, and took on a lofty STEM task. I am grateful to my wonderful husband, David Huss, who volunteered his time at MES for this crazy day. While I reviewed the previous week's lesson of kinetic and potential energy and read a story of chain reactions in our lives (The King's Tea by Trinka Hakes Noble) with the students, Mr. Huss prepped each the classroom with Craft Stick Snake Bomb Chain Reactions! It was a huge success. The kids loved having him here (almost as much as I did!), and each lesson went smoothly. Enjoy these pictures showcasing some of our incredible future engineers! Be proud, parents. You have amazing kids!
