They started with a Google Classroom lesson on what a hypothesis is, spiraled from there into launching candy across the classroom with mini-catapults, then back to Google Classrooms to evaluate their original hypothesis.

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the way these kiddos wrote their hypotheses! How about this from a third grader:
The relationship between mass and distance traveled is the more mass something has, the more distance it gains. The video said," Acceleration of something depends on the mass of that something and the amount of force applied." Once, I threw a piece of paper and the mass of the paper didn't let it go far.
