Parents: You should have seen the letter below. It was printed on blue paper, and has super important information for you and your child. I am SOOOOO excited about the engineering fair this year, and that we have a resource model at school to support it! You can bookmark this link to keep an eye on the countdown timer. Talk to your sweet kiddos about their ideas. I can't wait to see what they invent!

Words cannot describe today. When a 3rd grader realizes that ONE unit was ALL of her subjects ... you know you've taught it right. The history of the trebuchet in warfare. The science of simple machines and physics. The math of measurement, data collection, and calculation of ratios. Learning through reading. Using technology (Google Classroom) to journal and write about our connections and respond to EQs. We did it all! It was an "ah-ha moment" that warmed my heart. I am so grateful to all the people involved in making today a success. I am especially grateful for my amazing husband, David Huss, who took time out from his crazy schedule to come and Punkin' Chunk with for the kids at #AmazingMaysville! It was amazing!
