- Math - Multiplying and dividing decimals by whole numbers.
- Eureka Math parent guide. This is a great tool for learning how math is taught. Students are encouraged to being using the traditional algorithms for multiplication and division. Yep! They way we were taught! I encourage you to work with your child on this skill. As you do so, explain the importance of place value as you work through the problems.
- Khan Academy accounts are used to reach standards that may be missing from your child's learning.
- Zearn.org is a great tool that aligns with Eureka.
- Writing - Using mentor texts to elaborate and annotate our own writing!
- Ask your child about the powerful piece, Eleven, we read in class.
